He attended UNT Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his traditional rotating internship at Osteopathic hospital in Fort Worth. He completed residency at UT Southwestern Dallas and then began private practice after completion of residency.
Dr. East practices interventional pain and regenerative medicine. He is passionate about Regenerative Medicine and truly believes that this is the future of medicine. His treatment protocols focus on using biologics to enhance the innate ability of the body to heal itself.
Dr. East has been the primary investigator and sub-investigator in a number of published journal articles. He believes that research, especially in the field of Regenerative Medicine is critical in being able to move needle from the traditional medical model that involves steroids and surgery to regenerative medicine, which is a natural way to treat many medical conditions. Dr. East’s special focus in Regenerative Medicine is optimizing the functional and integrity of the mitochondria which is essential for the improvement of the immune system, inflammation reduction, and efficiency of cellular processes. He uses a number of various biologics to help achieve optimal mitochondrial function.
Dr. East has joined the discseel team and is excited to be part of the journey that has been pioneered by the efforts of Dr. Kevin Pauza.
